Stamp Position Finder

Essential Tool for pointing out location of flaws , re-entries, retouches, etc. on postage stamps.

• The Position Finder is a lettered and numbered grid, engraved in reverse on clear, transparent material. A useful gadget, simple to use, easily understood, it provides a standard indicator of every point in the printing of a stamp design in correspondence with books and press writings. Supplied with full instructions for use.
• Uses a grid, numbered from 1-17 across and A-T down, each grid is 3mm square
• By placing the grid upright over the stamp with "00" against the outermost edges of the design (top left), the grid will identify the position of the flaw, retouch, re-entry, etc.
