This variety consists of a small "spur" that protrudes into the margin from the left side scroll ornament. It is believed to originate from some transitory damage or an inclusion to the transfer roll. Listed in Unitrade as #21iv, this variety appears in no less than 31 places on the plate of 100 subjects, including positions 1, 11, and all of the second to fourth columns (except position 4 which is the related "H Spur" version).
