This is a genuine #5 (imperforated six pence Prince Albert on wove paper) that was impressively modified to make a perforated #13. The #5 that was used is nevertheless remarkable (cv. $1,600 in this condition). As far as forged #13 goes, this is the best we have ever seen and it is nevertheless a great stamp to fill your album (without breaking the bank), as a genuine #13 in this condition would be worth $12,000!!!
