What exactly is the concept of "Stamps on Approval"?
Our goal is to make stamp collecting easy, practical and economical by bringing all our services and resources directly into the comfort of your own home. Following your sign-up to one of the Vista stamp clubs, you will receive your FREE gift and your first selection of stamps on approval. You will have 20 days to decide which stamps you wish to add to your collection. Then you simply return the other stamps along with your payment for only the stamps you decide to keep!

What is your so-called "BONUS REWARD" system?
For each purchase of a complete selection of stamps on approval, you will receive a FREE BONUS in stamps worth about half the value of the stamps purchased. For instance, if you purchase a 25$ stamp selection, you will receive a FREE BONUS worth about 13$.

How long do I have to examine the approval selections?
You have 20 days to decide which stamps you wish to add to your collection, and then simply return the others along with your payment for the stamps you wish to keep.

Is there a minimum I have to purchase from the approval selections?
No, there is no minimum purchase required.

Are there any obligations of any kind if I become a member?
No, your membership at Vista is free from any obligations.

What type of stamps are available for approval selections?
Vista offers 4 different stamp clubs for your collecting needs. You may join more than one stamp club if you wish. The 4 stamp clubs are:
  • Mint Canada Stamp Club
  • Used Canada Stamp Club
  • U.S. Stamp Club
  • Worldwide Stamp Club

Why do "Mint Never-Hinged" stamps appear to be priced higher than catalogue value?
Stamps issued prior 1949 have a greater value if mint never hinged. A never-hinged pricing factor (25% - 300%) is used in the price calculation. The pricing factor is given for each stamp in the catalogue. We use the Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps (2008 Edition) as reference. Example: Stamp # 51 Mint VF is priced at $30.00 with a NH pricing factor of 200%. Stamp #51 Mint VF NH is therefore priced at $90.00. The calculation is $30.00 + 200% = $90.00.
